Connect MongoDB Atlas to Allin with MCP

Technical preparation

With an Atlas administrator, create an Atlas Managed MCP configuration using the official guide for your client.

Limit this configuration’s projects, roles and network access to the intended scope. Prefer read-only access for exploration.

Retrieve the MCP configuration’s ingress client ID and client secret. A standard Atlas Admin API service account is not sufficient.

A denial may come from credentials for the wrong configuration, Atlas roles or the IP access list. Check the Allin server’s outbound IP.
