Connect Clay to Allin with MCP
Everything to prepare to connect this tool to Allin.
This guide is public. It contains no company configuration and grants no Allin access. Share secrets through your usual secure channel.
Technical preparation
- 1
Ask a Clay admin to enable Unknown under Settings → MCP users → Allowed MCP clients. This allows automatically registered clients such as Allin.
- 2
Save the connection, then authorize Clay in your browser. Choose a workspace you belong to; Allin registers its OAuth client automatically.
- 3
Configure available Functions and credit budgets in Clay. Then discover tools in Allin and grant access to teams or individuals.
What to give the Allin administrator
Permission for Unknown clients in Clay and authorization by a member of the intended workspace.
MCP server address
https://api.clay.com/v3/mcpIf the connection fails
Access may be denied by the Unknown setting or Clay workspace permissions. An OAuth registration limit may require waiting before retrying. Also check credit budgets and access to Functions.
Next, in Allin
Save the connection, authorize the account if needed, then discover tools. Enable only the tools you need and grant access to the relevant teams or people.
